The duo of Flight Time and Big Easy
“Globetrotting with the Globetrotters” is a tale of two black men traveling the world, using their unique combination of acting and basketball skills in attempt to win the race and the million dollar prize. Will they flatten the competition like they flatten the Washington Generals game after game? Will they survive until the next episode? Read and find out!
Previously on The Amazing Race: Big Easy and Flight Time aren’t featured at all in the opening montage of what happened during Episode 1.
The teams start in the Mekong Delta. A brief history lesson about the Vietnam War is conveyed to the audience. The boat that served as the Pit Stop traveled from Kai Bei to My Tho, Vietnam overnight. The teams have no idea what city they have been transported to.
Departing at 5:56 AM after the mandatory rest period, Big Easy and Flight Time start in third place, 11 minutes behind the leaders. Their clue tells them to go to Ho Chi Minh City (a two-hour taxi drive away) and find the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theatre, where they have to snatch their clue from water puppets that are darting about the water.

Team History:
The Chicago Bulls before Michael Jordan is similar to the history of the world before the introduction of language; we know it was there, but we have no clue what actually happened (except Jerry Sloan, which might make him a cave drawing). Once Jordan hit Chicago, the franchise was transformed from a so-so team into one of the greatest of all time. Jordan, the greatest of all time (don’t try to deny it), led the Bulls to some of the greatest moments in the history of the league.
After some mighty struggles with the Pistons and Celtics in the 1980s, the Bulls brought in the still unproven coach Phil Jackson to coach the young Bulls that had the infamous Jordan and a young up-and-comer Scottie Pippen. The Bulls would go on to win three championships in a row (the first threepeat for Jackson) from the 91-93 seasons. Jordan retired, shocking the world (kind of like Barry Sanders, only a lot bigger) and the Bulls dropped from Champions to near champions with Pippen leading the charge. Jordan came back (the first time) and the Bulls went on to post another threepeat. One of those seasons, the Bulls posted a 70-12 record, the most wins in NBA history.
