Zydrunas came back to Cleveland yesterday, much to the delight of the adoring fans. He was the focal point of all the festivities at the Quicken Loans Arena, even being introduced before the game despite the fact that he wasn’t starting. It was a big deal to Cavaliers’ fans.

When a good player gets hurt or goes down with an injury, usually a player (and in some cases an entire team) have to step up and fill the void left or the whole season will collapse in on itself.

The Pacers smashed the Thunder yesterday. I can’t really explain why, I didn’t watch the game. However, I’ve noticed that Danny Granger cannot be the main star on a very successful team. Maybe a second option as an all-around player with legitimate scoring abilities, but not the main guy.

Gilbert Arenas is also changing his number to 6 next season, or at least he has filed the necessary paperwork in order to do so. Gone is Agent Zero, superficially I guess. Hopefully, gone will also be his foolish antics involving small arsenals of weapons and rumored jokes.

As we all know, Sunday at 9 PM is the premiere of Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks on ESPN, exploring “how Miller proudly built his legend as “The Garden’s Greatest Villain.”

Ron Artest is channeling his best Dennis Rodman by dying his hair funky colors with the added sprinkle of language emblazoned across his dome. Maybe he thought this could snap the Lakers’ funk recently, however it did little to prevent another Lakers’ loss, brining the streak to a surprising three games.
